Honouring Wendy Kilmurray – Our Volunteer of the Month for October!

This month, we are delighted to present the Volunteer of the Month award to Wendy Kilmurray!

Wendy has been a great asset to the club over the first few months, contributing in many ways. Wendy has been instrumental in coordinating the girls team, working with Jamie and helping to get this firmly established and back on the agenda for growth within the club. With over 10 girls now regularly attending rugby on a Monday night, the noises of enjoyment can be hear from a long way away – remember to bring your ear defenders if you want to come and see a real demonstration of fun amongst a cross age team of girls. The future of out girls team!

Wendy has also been instrumental in some of the fundraising initiatives, coming help to help with the shop, barbeques and other fundraising, even when her daughter was not in attendance.

Wendy’s behind-the-scenes efforts often go unnoticed, but without her dedication, our club would not be where it is today and the girls would not be developing in the way they are. It is with great pleasure that the Committee present the Volunteer of the Month award to Wendy Kilmurray!
