Royston RFC Under 6's continue to attract large numbers of children to the Sunday morning sessions.

We have split the group into Under 5's (Reception class or younger) and under 6's (Year 1) with a dedicated group of coaches providing fun sessions for the children.

This past Sunday we had over 30 children in the under 6 age group and over 20 in the under 5 group.

We play non-contact TAG rugby which is an introduction to ball handling & running skills. Tags are used to simulate the tackle. The game is suitable for both girls and boys.

With the Under 6`s training, emphasis is placed on fun & games to develop skill and confidence with the ball.
